Jedidah Akawu Jacob is the founder of ASESD and a multi award-wining Botanist/Conservation Biologist whose work focuses on saving the Nigerian Savanna biodiversity through research, community engagement and implementation of conservation projects for sustainable actions.

Gayaunan Danilu
Entomologist
Gayaunan Danilu is an Entomologist who has ample experience in conducting research on insect biology, behavior and management. She uses science to identify, and study insects and their relationships to plant and wildlife in a given ecosystem. She also manages insect population to protect public health.

Evelyn Micah Joshua
Field Coordinator
Evelyn Micah Joshua is a graduate of Botany committed to the conservation of Nigerian savanna floral diversity. Her passion and zeal for field research and conservation led her to volunteer on multiple vegetation survey and restoration projects with ASESD. She is now coordinating our field survey and school conservation clubs.
